The Assignment

Create a 6 page spread for a travel magazine about a particular city of your choosing. Each city has a given set of type to emulate how to work collaboratively with a copy writer, and make the given copy work with the design.

Bordeaux, France was an easy choice because I immediately felt a serif font and rich colors were going to be great for this spread. I used imagery of bread, cheese, and wine which is a big part of the French culture. I also incorporated unique grid structure which gives insight to the playfulness of the city.
