“Clutched” Silver plated copper

Clutched

Silver plated copper

Using forming techniques, this coin purse is crafted from copper with an etched flower texture on the front. A custom latch and hinge finished the piece off before it was silver plated.

While this is a completely useable piece, it is meant to be an heirloom, to be passed down to generations.

Formed from fine and sterling silver, these rings were made to represent my mother, my sister, and me. Made from the same materials, but having their own unique style, these rings symbolize my family.

The bezel set lapis lazuli adds a pop of color to contrast the white silver base.

Silver, Emeralds

This project is where I found my love of chain making. Using silver 18 gauge wire, I had crafter the chain for this heirloom locket. This die-formed locket was made from a custom die out of fine silver. On the left side interior of the locket, I tube set 3 emeralds to represent the women in my family. On the right interior side, I have a silhouette image of my mother as a child. All going back to that theme of heirlooms and family.

“La Lune”Fine Silver, Brass, Diamond

La Lune

Fine Silver, Brass, Diamond

This ring was made with only cold connections and represents my connection to the moon. As a child, my father would tell me and my sister a story about the moon and the sun, where I was the moon and she was the sun. From then on, I have kept that story with me as one of my favorite memories, and I include moons into my designs whenever I can.
